Focke Wulf FW 190

I used to love those old Matchbox kits.

Great to see another vintage build. Old Matchbox kits were easy to put together.  I still have my FW190 I built around 1978.  It, and the Stuka, were my first airbrushed models.  I know about that path, 40 years later and I am building the same model

Oh yeah...Been a Tribe fan since my first game, probably around 1968-69.  I still have a toy drum with Chief Wahoo on it from that game.

Interested in your Focke Wulf.  The very first kit I ever buit was a 1/72 Revell Focke Wulf I got in fifth grade.  Showing my age, but it was in a grade school Christmas gift exchange.  Set me on the path i am still on forty years later lol!

My daughter sees the Tribes, Cavs, and the Browns at least a couple of games every season.  She got to go to the Cleveland World Series home game.  Of course she was disappointed, maybe next year.  I'm a NFL fan of all 32 teams so I'm glued this weekend and next weekend to the playoffs.  LOL!

Nice to meet you gentlemen. I've also been a CLE sports fan my whole life. I was heart broken when we lost the World Series this past season.

I have literally a whole stash of these older models. Over 200 of them! My grandfather passed away a couple years ago, and I received them from my mother. There are still tons more in her storage. My grandfather was a huge aviation but. I'm starting to get time to work on these, doing some of them in his memory. Thanks for looking!

It's going to be interesting watching what you do to this liitle kit. i'm a big fan of those who upgrade the inexpensive kits into realistic lookng models in capable hands like yours.

P.S. i am originally from Cleveland and a Tribe fan for life. As a kid ,i worked at the old Municipal Stadium hawking hot dogs and popcorn.

I'm very interested in your project because the kit is a little old.  I think you'll make it into a great model, but it's rare to see a build of a 45 year old kit.  

I may live in Cincy, but I was raised near CLE, so
