I share your joy.

Having used a considerable range of different manufacturers and AB models over my four decades of air-brushing [OMG, can it really have been that long???]. I can state unequivocally that the Anthem is the only one I've used that consistantly delivers more joy than heartache and frustration. I'm sure there are 'better' ABs on the market---but the Anthem does more things more easily (for me) than anything else I've used.

End of rant....Wink

Enjoy your AB...and don't forget to post your projects!

Greg

I had the same excitement when I purchased my Iwata NEO last year. Gravity feed is definitely the way to go. Clean up is so much easier.

Mighty fine AB, that Anthem. My first badger, have a few others, have gravitated, (no pun,) to mostly the gravity Badger line, most often used is the 200G single action. Simple and durable, completely trouble free with plenty of use.

Glad you got your 155, enjoy it.

I think I'll save up my pennies over the year and pick up a NEO CN with another coupon.

I'm really enjoying a real airbrush!

Have fun.

I have an Iwata Eclipse CS and an Iwata NEO CN. The NEO can be changed from .035 to .050 Needle just by replacing the Needle, Nozzle and Cap. I use both needle sizes depending on what I am pushing through it.

I am ordering a Badger Patriot 105 as well, I love its flexibility in terms of spray patterns and needle nozzle sizes.

In short, buying any quality brush seems to give good results. I just can't work with anything other than gravity fed brushes, do not like the siphon fed ones mostly because of the amount of cleanup needed. And its a pain to change colors unless you buy multiple cups. With the gravity feed I just dump, clean, and reload!

Cheers,

Robert

I've never had the opportunity to use a Badger, but I do love my Iwata.  :)

After many years, the stars finally aligned.

I couldn't find the siphon tube for my Badger 250 and i wanted to do a large white area, which look terrible every time I attempt a brush job.  Michael's had a 55% off coupon, and their web site showed NEO's for Iwata, so I went for a look.

I came home with an Anthem.

Wow.

Why, oh why, did I wait so long?

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.
