Help finding A-7 Corsair 2
Posted by fly-r-die on Saturday, January 21, 2017 3:01 AM

Hello all. Looking for some help.  In the near future I am going to be building and modifying a 1/525 scale USS Lexington aircraft carrier as a Father's day present. The overall length of the carrier will be about 20.8 inches.

Here is where the air plane part comes in.  In doing some research I found out when he was station on board, (1968-1970) they shot off the A-7 Corsair 2.   And a prop plane.  I don't know what the prop plane was.

I need some help trying to find a scale size A-7 Corsair that would go on the deck of the model. If I can't find a scale sized Corsair then maybe the prop plane that landed.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Matt.
