Yes Nathan. To be honest I forgot to fit it in before closing the fuselage halves. Felt bad about it later on, but then tried fitting it in from the exhaust nozzle but it couldn't go too far. Probably the wall within stopped it. So I just left it where it was.

Looking good!

I just bought this new Academy kit too. I don't have it with me yet, but hope to see it soon.

Nice build.  Excellent job on the freehand camo in that little scale!

Excellent work in this small scale. The airbrushing turned out beautiful. Too bad you couldn't modify the exhaust to move the engine farther back into the fuselage.

Hello!

I like it! Freehanding of the camo also gave you those subtle opacity differences that you would get if painting the real thing with a spray gun. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Looks great - I think it's really impressive you free-handed the camouflage like that!

MiG-21SMT Fishbed-K (Eastern Express 1/72 scale)

Finally finished my favorite model and the love of my life. Smile

This is the MiG-21SMT Fishbed-K. The kit was from Eastern Express in 1/72 scale.

The model was painted up in the camouflage scheme of the Soviet, 582nd Air Fighter Regiment based out of Poland in 1982 during those cold-war days

The camo scheme was all airbrushed freehand without any masking whatsoever and thats where I wanted to challenge my skills.

Got to learn a lot about airbrushing from this model. Here are the pictures for you to enjoy.

Sherbir
