ok... I am not familiar at all with any Belcher Bits products. Nor with what particular mods the Canadian Avengers had on them. I just recall the Fleet Air Arm Tarpons (TBF/TBM) having the new side windows...
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

One point you want to look for is if the Canadian Avenger was built to RN specs with the bulged fuselage side windows, or USN specs with the flat/flush windows. I believe the Hobbyboss kit offers that option in one of their boxing. The two different AM TBF/TBM kits that I have in my stash do not.
Can't help with the decals, but I agree on the Accu-Mini/Italeri TBF. EXCELLENT kit. It can also be had for less than the HobbyBoss offering. Can't speak on the H/B kit, as I haven't spend the $$$'s on it. As far as I know, the only benefit to H/B's kit is the wings can be folded up.
For Canadian Avengers it might be nice to go with 1/48, then you can use the resin and decals by Belcher Bits, here is the page for the Avenger:

I would go with the Accurate Miniatures kit, probably Italeri has the molds now. Just because that's what Belcher Bits intended.
Hello, Iam looking at building A RCAF Avanger from 1950's for my father. Looking for advice on the different kits avaliable in 1/48 and 1/32, I have read a bit on the Hooby Boss 1/48th TBM-3 as well as the TBF-1c. Trumpeter has a 1/32 TBM-3, Any insight or advice would be very welcome. Also are there after market decals for the RCAF Avangers out there as I have not been able to find any. Thank you Rory.
