Czech it out my new MIG-17PF

BRAVO! BRAVO! I opened the pics in photobucket and still couldn't tell they were hand brushed, and with silver no less. Very nice work. I'm going to apply this lesson the next time I'm hand painting a larger surface.

Lol I still use Testors silver for lots of applications, just not hand painting an entire model anymore! Lol!

I'll be a monkey's uncle if that isn't an impressive skill. 

I assumed it was either air brushed or rattle can'd.

That is a very good skill to have at your disposal. :)

Nothing fun about air brushes for me I can't stand them. I'll use rattle can paint. I forgot to mention that I used the tamiya spray primer first. I let it sit for 3 or 4 days afterward then begin to brush it on thin. three coats usually. first coat left to right second is at 90 to that and third is 45 degrees between.  I didn't have an airbrush when I was a kid so I learned how to do it without one.  As a kid I did it with the testors little bottle of silver paint.  If you have to much paint somewhere just brush it out as flat as possible.

Its 1/72 scale Minicraft mig-17. kit #1083. The paint job is tamiya xf-16 flat aluminium brushed on. I then sprayed on testors gloss overcoat, applied decals, and then some thin coats of testors spray dull coat until the gloss is covered up.  The radar in the nose is chrome silver painted last.
