I'll post this in "Ships" too.
I've put together a bunch of these things. Seagulls for CA-38 USS San Francisco, Harriers for the Tarawa LHA-1 (1/700), so on.
The ones cast in clear plastic. Nice little models.
Runny solvent glue seems to not have enough bonding surface, and the clear styrene isn't really soft enough to melt. CA, well it holds but any touch and it snaps free.
I'm going to put together little Wildcats from VF-2 at Coral Sea.
F4F-3's but the only ones available to build are F4F-4's with the STO folding wing.
Which means that each little kitty has, on each side;
a fuselage half, a stub wing, and an outer wing.
The fear is that all of these little bug parts will depart.
Whats the best glue you've found? CA vs. clear styrene I can deal with.
