Very well done. The OD spray over on the insignia is a nice touch too

I'll echo the others, nice job all around, and a slick way to hide non-existant items or detail.

Very cool and very clever. Not only do you get a big ole thumbs up on the overall build but,  you get a Bow Down for creativity. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

A knockout, beautious job, Darren. The camo finsh is great, and the covered canopies are completely believable. I like it!!! Thanks for the post and photos.

1/72 Revell Do-335

I know, I know, it's not a Tomcat...or even a jet. Our club is having a contest next month and the theme is classic Revell kits. I picked the 1/72 scale Do-335 at a show last year for a couple of bucks and thought I'd do a fun build. The clear parts were thick and didn't fit. There wasn't any interior anyway. So, what to do. Why, cover it with "tarps" of course! I haven't done the white glue/tissue thing very often in my modeling career, but it came in handy on this build. I didn't do the greatest job on it, but it covered up the horrible clear parts, and that's what I was looking to do.
