Yeah, that's some very impressive camo in such a small scale.

Project "Foxbat Fury"

Revell 1/144 scale MiG-25 Foxbat completed as part of my "Foxbat Fury " project and is my second entry into the "MiG group build" hosted on Facebook by Ian Poulton. All camouflage has been painted free hand without any masking.

The aircraft has been painted in the tactical camouflage scheme of the Soviet Air Force MiG-25 RBF from 931.OGRAP (Guards Reconnaissance Aviation Regiment), based at Werneuchen, East Germany, during the cold war years in 1971-72.

The MiG-25 is the fastest fighter in the world capable of achieving clean speeds of upto Mach 3.2 (3920 km/h) and was designed to intercept and shoot down the US SR-71 Blackbird and U-2 reconnaissance spy-planes using its 4 long-range AA-6 Acrid (Vympel R-40) missiles

It is powered by 2 × Tumansky R-15B-300 afterburning turbojets delivering a thrust of 16,524 lbs each.

Sherbir
