I wish this aircraft made it in to production, I love it. This is my "what if" it did make production and Australia put it in to service. I had to scrounge through my decals but managed to find enough to make a 76 squadron bird. The paint scheme is from a Mirage IIIO 1986, so I think it is a good match for the era.Gunze Medium Grey over Light Ghost Grey is the camo colours. Not the easiest kit I have built and I made a mess of the canopy join at rear top, Ithink due to the engineering which like most F-5 kits the fuselage is 5 pieces, 2 for front and 3 for rear, I did front together and rear together than joined but perhaps I should have joined right side parts and left side parts and then joined that way.The kit has great details in rivets and panel lines, and I will build the F-20C and F-20B/N kits Freedom have released as well.
I agree with you, the F-20 was one of the best planes never built. I love the Australian scheme and you did a beautiful job. I love the fact its loaded for bear also. Nice job.
