Thanks B-1. Thats useful to know. I'll probably have to attempt a re-scribe and the AM extensions will have engreaved lines i should think. But about time i tried that out.

If your looking for something with recessed panel lines Italeri's AC-130H Spectre has them.

Nice job B-1, I have yet to do a J model.

Thanks keyda.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I really like the lines of this particular aircraft.  It's just unique.  The build quality is just fantastic.  Superb!

Looks awesome. If I had the room I'd have a whole lot of these kits

Thanks Bish,

The kit built up ok. The only real concern is the sanding away all the detail since it's all raised panel lines. I ended up doing a complete re-scribe prior because I knew I would I obliterate the rased detail from doing seam work.

Testors boxing of the 1/72 C-130J. I used the Attack squadron sponson extensions, and the engine nacelle set. She originally started life a short body C-130J, Then later converted to a EC-130J Commando Solo III tail# 96-8153. The finished model is how she looks today.

I used decals from my scrap bin since the decals that came with the kit was for an Alasks unit that never opertated the J model. All paints were mr color.
