1/48 Eduard MIG-21 BIS Weekend Edition - CAPETI

Kit – 1/48 Eduard Weekend Edition MIG-21BIS
Extras used

·         Hadmodels MIG-21 BIS CAPETI decal sheet

·         Master Model Mig-21 BIS Pitot tube

·         Aerobonus  Mig-21 Fighter Pilot

·         Spare parts to make rocket pods

Paints used

·         Gunze aqueous H4 gloss yellow

·         AKAN Emerald green (cockpit interior Mig 21/23/25/27/31)

·         Tamiya X-18 Semi gloss black, Gunze metalizer and Vallejo metal color

·        Flory dark dirt wash just to highlight panel lines and rivets

·         Gloss coat- Pledge Floor Care

I have had this kit and decals for ages, finally worked up the courage to have a crack at it. Mt first Eduard Mig-21 and they are great. My only negative is that they are

·         Missing antennae/sensors (the 3 pronged ones that sit under nose and on tail)

·         Also the kit pitot was bent and does not have the vanes for it.

·         Also you have to scratch build side panels for the cockpit which I found weird.

Over all Really enjoyed this one
