Influenza Mig
Posted by MonsterZero on Thursday, April 27, 2017 7:12 PM

I've had very severe influenza for like a week now so most of the time I stay at home recuperating. I've started some preliminary work on my next kit. It's the Mig-21 F-13 by Revell in 1/72 scale.

This is an extremely cool model with very nice detail for the scale. This is a brand new mold.

What I like about 1/72 kits is there are relatively few parts so you can see your work progressing quickly and don't get discouraged by massive assemblies that take forever.

This is what it looks like after basic painting + Future gloss coat. I will try to do some weathering of interior details next.

I'm glad you're feeling better.  I'm looking forward to your build.

I had the flu in March, and it lasted like a month!  It was the worst thing I have ever had in my whole life.  I was practically a zombie for a week straight.  Hope you feel better soon!

It is amazing to me how much detail is found in newer 1:72 scale models!  There seems to be a new molding technology in recent years, and Revell was one of the early adopters of it.
