My Zwilling is not so willing...

I built the Italeri kit years ago and didn't know any diffierant so just left it. The Hase kit has those mounts moded onto the wings but they are just solid plastic. You can just make them out on this pic.

The only referance pics i could find were on line plus a small section on the 111 on a bok about the 321 glider.

If i was going to do what your doing, i would drill holes into the mounts and insert some wire into them with a spring around it, it does look like a spring in that referance pic.

Thats going to be a bg display, will look forward to seeing that.

The Ju 87 and Bf 110 were used quite a bit for glider tow. i'd suspect those would be good sources for detail photos. 

Yes Bish, that is the photo. I dont know whether to drill into the centre span, or have a mounting which sits on top ? I guess if no-one knows what it looks like, I cant be faulted for the way it looks ? I am building the Italeri kit. Did you end up making any mountings ?  I know some people just build the aircraft and have them displayed together.  I want to do them both, hooked up and ready to roll.

When i did the Hasegawa kit i serched for ages and all i could find was a photo taken from one of the gun positions looking across the wings. But from what i could tell, you could not see any of the workings of the tow points, just the covers. Are you doing the Italeri or hasegawa kit.
