Any reviews on Wingnut Wings new Sopwith F.1 Camel USAS?
Posted by 1943Mike on Friday, May 26, 2017 11:18 AM

I just ordered one from eBay and can't find any reviews. Maybe it's too new but I would have thought there would be at least one or two reviews from the usual suspects (Rob Baumgartner, Tom Cleaver, etc.).

Do any of you know of any reviews?

David,

I found James Hatch's reviews on two of the F.1 Camels thanks to you - very much appreciated.

Thanks Chris.

I'm really looking for build reviews where I might profit from knowing about any areas to which I should pay attention when I'm working on it. The FineScale "In Box" review does show me some of the parts though - and that's helpful.

Hey Mike,

Take a look at www.ww1aircraftmodels.com. The guy who runs the site has a build log for WNW Sopwith Pup. While it isn't a Camel the construction and details might be similar so you'll know what your in for.

Thanks again David - that's a great resource for aircraft build logs.

There are currently two very fine WNW Camel builds represented on the Britmodeller  website forum---one by a gent named 'Beardie' and another by 'Viking.' Both are well worth a look.

Greg,

Thanks a bunch! Those are the kinds of finished builds with pictures and descriptions of the WIP that I want. Very, very helpful.
