Makes me want to bring mine off the shelf after I got frustrated with some of the fit issues. Had nasty gaps on the wing roots and the sensor pods on the wings. Probably wouldnt take too long to finish it up. This looks really good, I like the weathered look to it.

I did not know that Academy had a 1/48 U-2. That looks pretty fancy with all those extra pods and fairings.

Those lines look nice! Must have been alot of work and a steady hand.  I take it the original was raised panel lines? 

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

Thanks guys, yup Mongoose the kit I believe is the original Testors kit with raised panel lines.
