Hey all!  Much like Toshi's mosquito,  I am building this 1/72 offering for the RAF group build...but since it is 1/72 scale, I am not focusing on the details as much as that big 1/32 Mossie, but I am making an in flight display...

I am building it as 617 squardon's leader, Guy Gibson's aircraft, as it was flying and dropping his bouncing bomb over the Möhne Dam in the Ruhr valley in germany, May, 1943.

Wow, this is looking good, can't wait for the finished product. I have the new Airfix Lancaster I/III in my stash that I'd like to start working on.
