I have to agree with Toshi. even with this setback you seem to be getting along quite well with this one regardless.
I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
Oh, don't worry about this minor set back. You'll be just fine, so far everything is going according to plan for the moment. This is just a very minor setback!

LOL! Looks like you had some fun there. All in all, everything looks great. Keep up the good work!
Douglas Bader sitting in waiting for me too finish cutting the wings up , i broke a gun will fix later , he a bugger went awol he flew across my cave without his parachute took me 2 hours searching inch by inch till i found him lol o well carry on cutting up the wings :)
Not been building last few days as been too hot in cave today is cooler in scotland so done a bit added a pilot as it never came with one , thats the little chap painted lol had to amputate his legs as he was to lanky to fit just as well when its all closed up you wont see it :)
gun bay done :)
i cut the wing panels off , frame inside the wing , then used strech sprue and card to try to create the gun bay , just a rough dry fit to see how i feel , tomorrow a little tidyin up to do then paint n glue should look fine :)
The effort was well worth it Fred. I have done some scratch work and i know it can be frustrating, but the end result can be so satisfying.
