Nice start Mike, like your alteration to the pilot. Is this a new tool kit.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I couldn't take it any longer and I had to start playing with the assembly and painting on this little bird.

I modified the pilot by first removing his head, then adding a neck and reattaching it. Since his hands are on his knees I figured he would look more appropriate if he was looking in a different direction other than stone bored straight forward. So he's either waiting for the okay to start up and go, or he just got back from over the channel. Either way he looks better.

I've only begun painting him. I've got a base coat of Luftwaffle Blue and a little yellow for his flotation vest. The grey was included in the box and I thought I'd give it a try. Seems like decent paint.

I have no idea what kind of time I have to put into this, but its not high on the priority list. I think I just wanted to paint a pilot lol. We will see how far I get with this one. After all, I do have a P-40 to paint.  :)
