Fujimi 1/72 F-14A Tomcat

Another completed Tomcat, Fujimi 1/72 F-14A dressed in VF-111 Sundowners markings from the USS Carl Vinson, 1989. I used the kit decals that needed several applications of Solvaset. The detail is excellent and has a better pit than the Hasegawa cats. Paints were MM enamels and metalizers. Overall an excellent kit packing as much detail as a 1/48 scale one having no fit issues.  No putty or fillers were used at all. Click on the pictures for closeups.

Thanks fellas. The Sundowner markings are great looking IMO.

Bish

You will love how the little cat goes together having better details in the cockpit than the Hasegawa cat and parts fit like a glove. The decals were ok for the most part but Solvaset tamed them down better than Sol.

The good thing about it is that it takes up less display space and the level of detail is as good as a larger scale.
