First, that turned out to be an impressive model, second, that is an impressive collection of Phantoms!

Beautifully done.  Got to love a Phantom loaded out for either air-to-air or air-to-mud.  Worked on a lot of them in my time in the USAF, many, many moons ago.

Finished the Phantom II. VMFA-333 "THE SHAMROCKS" MCAS Beaufort 1985-1986.

Hasagawa Kit, Seamless intakes from Rhino,Eduard Zoom photoetch set for the cockpit, MAW and Two Bob's decals. The AOA probe and Pitot probes are turned brass parts from Master Model.

These Hasagawa Phantoms are a challenge for me. Only seven left in the stash........Stick out tongue

VMFA-333 was stationed at Iwakuni, Japan, back in 1989, flying F-18s at the time. The slang name for the squadron was "Trip Trey". Got to see those Hornets do some really awesome flying while I was stationed there.

Pit looks awesome. No better looking plane than a Phantom. My favorite aircraft.

Wow, Stephen! That's looking really good! I love the added details to the back of the Rios IP. That really gives it some interest.  :)

More work completed on the F-4S.

I wanted to "try" and add some depth to the back side of the RIO's instrument panel.

I also started to preshade the model. .I have been working on the ordinance. The decals on the missiles are from Two Bob's.

Thanks for checking in.

Cheers.

I have started on another F-4. The Sierra this time. Low Vis and alot fewer decals.

I used the Eduard Zoom set for the cockpit. I added throttles and the landing gear handle. The intakes are from Rhino and the exhaust is from Aires. I have the majority of the bodywork complete ( I think). I should be moving on to paint soon.

The  seats are from Wolfpack.

This is the scheme I would liketo do.

Thanks for checking in,

Cheers.
