1/48 SU-34 Hobby Boss

The Hobby Boss 1/48 SU-34. Scored it on Ebay for almost half of retail. I added the anti flash curtains on the inside of the side windows. Paints used were all from the MRP (Mr Paint) line. The fit of the kit is pretty good. Not much filler was required. The worst fitting part is the tail boom to the fuselage. It will require some careful gluing to ensure you do not end up with a huge step. The decals are the Syrian Conflict sheet released by Two Bobs.

Its a huge kit when finnished but looks impressive. I hope the kitty hawk one comes out soon so I can build and compare it to this one.

Very nice build. Love the camo.

I am also waiting for the Kitty Hawk one to come out too. Irritating that its taking so long but seeing how they went completely back to the drawing board with in and completely reenginered the kit makes me even more excited for it.

Quick question, did you do anything to fix the nose shape or is this all OOB?

Thanks Tyler, it is completely out of box. I left the nose alone to see how it compares to the kitty hawk one when it comes out.

Excellent build. I like it. I am going to build the same jet too but in smaller 1/72 scale. I love Russian jets.
