Hey Guys, thanx for the input.
I have decided not to go ahead with this GB idea . Seems timing is not right.
Theuns
stikpusher I'd be interested, but late this year or next year would be better for me. My plate is full for the rest of this year.

I have a Tamiya D.520 that I'd love to build. Been looking for an excuse anyway. My vote would be for later this year if possible.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

Oh no! Thanx for the correction, I should have said 1 Aug 17
It was just an idea, no pressure, can be done next year aswell ;-)
Sorry Theuns, i don 't get it. You want to start a GB now but put its start date 2 and a half months ago.
Unfortunatly, the only thing i have got that would work is some RAF Jaguars, but 4 months is way to short for me and my builds areplanned out for the next 12 months.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
from 1 May 2017, for lets say 5 months max.
French built with french markings
French built with other markings
Other built with french markings, any of these options, civil wswell
If there is any concerns about me hosting a large GB I am more than happy to step aside and have someone else host it, no problems atall :-)
Yeah, I've never tried to lock down any of the Japanese GBs to any too specific a subject. And Bish's RAF GB covers everything from the Great War up to the present.
I do have a Mirage or three in my stash but honesty this is one I think I'm going to have to stay out of. I'm in a bunch of GBs right now that I haven't been getting much done with since when I have been modeling (which seems less and less) I've been working on a couple of my own independent projects.

I think not GM. The Japanese GB's have been even more wide in their allowance, and very well populated. The Italian one a few years ago was also a good GB. Why not French Aircraft?
Way too big. The problem with that kind of thing is that no two members can compare knowledge.
Something like a Dassault GB or an Armie De l'Air 1941.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
May 1st next year?
I understand French aircraft in French markings. Now does this include French built aircraft in foreign markings and/or foreign built aircraft in French markings? I am not clear on that. I have multiple subjects in all categories if I decide to partake.
With so many kits available you will have a real show. French manufacture with French markings? The Americans used Nieuports and Spad birds too. There have been some interesting French history book and these subjects as well. The French also used British aircraft in WWI Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutters and a few Sopwith Triplanes to speak of.
Stachel...unconfirmed by Armee means unconfirmed!!!!
Is there any interest in a GB dedicated the aircraft (fixed and rotor wing) that either had/has french markings or was made by a French aircraft maker?
From WW1 Morane Saulnier through to modern things like the Rafale ect.
Civils like Dasault Falcon, Airbus ,Avions Mudre are also welcome.
I will let you guys mull if over a little.
Time scale will be for 4 months starting maybe 1 May
