Thank you, guys. With retirement coming up, I'll have a lot more time to try to scratch-build items like these.I was, more specifically, looking for the rounded, bulbous fairings on the undersides of the C-47 fuselages that the para-packs were secured behind, rather more difficult to scratch-build than the para-pack bundles themselves.
Here you go, just as Shep made them:

And there is many more sheets here:

I*n the early days of the release of the C-47 kit by Monogram Shep Pain did a diorama with a C47 being loaded with paratroops aan their gear. If I remember correctly the diorama included scratch built para-pack racks and bundles. I cannot remember if this was in a modeling magazine or a sheet with the model. Anyway I do remember looking for those items and never found aftermarket parts. Try a search for Shep pains Monogram dioramas. When I lived in the Chicago area in the early seventies the IPMS club I belonged to would have Shep do a demonstration from time to time. He was an extraordinary modeler.
Has anyone ever made after-market under-wing para-pack racks and bundles in 1/48th scale for the Monogram C-47?
