A big congrats on your well deserved awards.

The show was yesterday and we had a great time. My son's Grave Digger took a second place, and the Dogfight Double earned a bronze, so we were both very pleased! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get feedback on my builds, things were just too busy. We made it to the candy store and the wing place, so it was one of those days the kid will always remember. 

As for shopping, I came home with an AMT '57 Ford Fairlane 500 kit. I haven't done much with cars, other than struggle with a Revell Mustang GT that has some manufacturing issues. I love those old cars from the '50's, so looking forward to building this once the bench is a little more clear. There was a Monogram P-61 Black Widow kit I almost bought. It was already started, $10. It looked like it was just the cockpit, but i couldn't tell if all the parts were there. 

All fine looking builds, and nice to see in flight models - nicely done!

My 2 son's built at that age but they didn't stay with it. My grandson is that age and has built several it's a blast watching and helping them.

He did the Revell SnapTite Grave Digger and he's in the process of making a base. He's eight, so a big accomplishment for him!

That Wildcat looks great. I agree that the Flying Tiger stand is really fantastic, and the double is sweet.

Every single build looks fantastic.  But you are correct sir, the Wildcat looks great in-flight!  Good luck in your show.

Yep it dose look cool flying. I thought I read once that they refused to them as the bugle duck on the ground.

I agree both stands look nice but the p-40 stand well just stands out all pun intended.

Good luck with your show. They all look nice. I have a few 1/48 airfix but have yet to try one.
