Tamiya F-15E Bunker Buster (re-fueling port decal question)

I'm going to go with Stik, more of a grey than green.

Having seen my share of MO Mudhen's, I've seen the white on a few and this color is definately a lighter shade of grey, I'd have to say neutral grey.

It looks like it might be markings for the Boom Operator to guide the boom into the port, especially for night time ops.  If it's green, it might be slime lights or something similiar.  Possibly because of the scale Tamiya was able to go into a little bit more detail than say a 1/48.  

Which bombs does the kit come with? The GBU-24 kit on a BLU-109 makes for a real good looking bunker buster.  

I would venture a guess that it is the same color as used on F-16's for the same marking. The base color in that area is the same, gunship gray 36118. I'm not sure if it would be Neutral Gray or Dark Ghost Gray for the refuelling receptacle marking.

Yes, those photos match the decal color.  It's a grayish/pale greenish shade.  I  don't know what the Air Force would call that color.

I've seen it in  several Tamiya 1/32 F-15E completed builds in Google images.

I just thought it was odd at first glance, as the original SJ and indeed most of the MO jets you see have white there. 

The decal is in a conspicuous place so I wanted to get it correct.

That looks light gray there. And makes sense for low vis markings. Does that match the decal color?

Just found these photos.

These photos are from MO 2006, so at least at one point in time these were accurate.

Photos of Mountain Home Strike Eagles show white markings at the refueling receptacle. Unless somebody can show a photo of light green markings, I suspect that it was an error by Tamiya.
