I just completed this Monogram 1/72 Do17Z for the Monogram Mafia GB. I built one of these when it first came out in 1968 so it was a blast from the past. I built this one in flying mode and added Prop Blurs to suggest spinning props. I also added a wood base to the original Monogram stand.
I think the Prop Blurs look very cool.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
AWESOME JOB, plasticjunkie!! Well done!

Build one at a time? Hah! That'll be the day!!
Nice looking build, really done a greta job on that. Is it 48th scale.

Really outstanding PJ, and the blurs do look cool.

Another masterpiece to add to your collection. Fantastic job on the extras like the prop blur and wood base. Adds realism (Prop blur) and elegance (Wood base).

Another great build PJ! The blurs are very cool!!!
Thanks guys. I'm glad you like how this old model came out.
I think the trick to the blurs is to not look at the individual props but look at the entire picture as a whole then the blurred effect appears.
Bish Nice looking build, really done a greta job on that. Is it 48th scale.
Thanks Aggieman. I am so used to see Monogram 48th kits i wasn't even sure if they did the smaller scale.
Yes Bish it's 1/72. I have seen reviews on the new Airfix 17Z in 1/72 and is very detailed specially the pit.
This Monogram kit is from 1968 and still a decent little model.
Thanks PJ. I have seen the Airfix kit, but not got around to addin g it to the stash. I am going into the LHS tomorrow to grab the new 72nd Ju 87 just out, i may see if they have the 17Z as well.
Bish please let me know if you get the Airfix 17Z and details about it.
Will do.
It sure looks bigger than 1/72 because of the excellent way you have built her.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Thanks Jay!
