I picked up a bagged kit of a 1/48 Tamiya P-51D from the local model show last weekend and it came with the Aires detail set #4089. This is the set that came with cockpit, engine, engine frame, gun bays and wheel bay.
If you have the instructions for this I would love a copy or if you know where online I can get a copy please post it here. Appreciate any help.
Aires also sells these parts in smaller detail sets. If you have instructions for any of these, that will work too.
