As you know there'll be no pictures . But , I will give you a detailed account . Down to the chotskes . Simple statement .This has to be the worse kit I have tried to build in a while . The molding isn't to bad and that's saying something .
No locating pins . Windows don't fit and the fuselage has so many flaws around the edges and where the wings locate I am going to have my hands full . Just getting the parts off the trees was a chore .
I had to use Toenail cutters because the sprue leads to the parts were so hard . I have never run across this . They weren't big , just hard . It was like trying to cut the Large sprue on a Monogram Kit with the tweezer type cutter .
The shape seems right . But , I won't know till the glue dries . Speaking of glue , it didn't seem to like it at all . My Tamiya Green label usually sticks well right off . Not on this puppy !
How about this , No crazing ! But , the canopy area didn't want to stick until I had made three tries to stick it in place . The fuselage in that area does NOT match the contours on my data . There,s a small indenture that runs along the fuselage at the bottom edge of the cockpit window level going back toward the wing . It ain't there !
The plastic though , on this thing , feels greazy even after wiping it down with Thinner !The panel lines are there . They look like canyons grooved in the surface of this plane . I feel that they should've left them off rather than go this route . They are to large and there aren't enough of them anyway .
So that's the first installment . I will get back to you when I get to the wings and such . Oh , a parting comment . Be careful cutting off the flash ! You can accidently cut into the main parts of the fuselage ! Especially around the rear of the fuselage and tail .
