I'm working on the 1/72 Hobby Boss F-84E Thunder Jet. It's one of their "easy assembly" kits, I picked it up to try something with a bare metal finish. I've heard the horror stories about BMF, but it wasn't so bad. I'll post pictures when it's done.
But.... the kit provides the option of adding missiles. From the pictures I've seen it does not look like the missiles were carried much on the Thunder Jet, and I'm not sure what kind they were. I'm not sure if I'm going to add them yet. The instructions with the kit recommends "burnt iron" for the color of the missiles. This doesn't sound right. I can't find any color pictures of Thunder Jets with missiles, can anyone provide some insight on what they carried and the color? Thanks!
