Hi all, I'm in the midst of seven builds I'm doing in honor of a man I greatly admired and respected. He flew in various squadrons of the FAA during WWII. After some deep research, I found that one of the planes he flew was a Hellcat modified for recon missions. The only thing I could find was on Wings Pallette and it shows a deep blue color on the plane. I don't know if this is definitive as most recon variants were painted in the PRU Blue that I hear is basically Haze Grey. I have a rattle can of Tamiya Haze Grey. Does anyone know definitively if Photo Recon Hellcats in British service were painted in deep blue only? Thanks for any help.
