Yep, I remember the Atomic Canon. In every neighborhood, (back in the day) there was always one kid who got everything that came out. I think we called them spoiled! But, our spoiled brat had one of those, and it was pretty big. The model that is. Big Smile [:D]
Aurora, I remember, and Hawk too, but thats it!
And stinger pretty much said it all in an earlier post about the prices on e-bay.
Somebodies gonna wind up with an expensive pile of plastic.
And I'll never be an old timer as long as they keep making viagra. Wink [;)]

Jim - I just sent you an email and I hope it went to the right address, but just in case, what are those links to the 7E7 press release drawings and the 747 you referred to? Are they on the Boeing.com site? Although I have a subscription to AvWeek, and they mentioned that 747 and the 7E7 progress, it was only in copy, no pics that I've seen.

rangerj - I remember Hawk and Aurora as well, and Comet kinda rings a bell. Check out eBay for those kits. I just bought a couple old hawk kits of a P-47 and a P-51 that I had as a kid.

thanks

For those who are interested here are a couple of other kit manufacturers that have disapeared. Strombecker. Anybody remember that one? Then more recently there was Frog. Frog was either English or French. From what I understand a lot of the Frog molds went to former USSR countries.

Does anyone know of any other U.S. model manufacturers that have not been mentioned? Does anyone know which of the kit manufacturers was the first, or the oldest?
