Hello gang!Smile [:)]

I'm starting a research on this huge glider (not the 323 with 6 engines).
I tried to look for photos with open nose and maybe some vihechle driving out, but came up with nothing so far Disapprove [V]

Got the italeri (Dead [xx(]) kit but that's my only choice so... also got thier He-111 Zwieling so I got the material for an intresting diorama.

Any help will be recieved with pleasureWink [;)]
Do you if the flaps were down on the ground? it should give a nicer look to the aircraft.
Maybe the wrong forum but do you know if it could carry somthing havier then a panzer III?

Thanks!Big Smile [:D]

I have seen pictures of an 88mm gun being loaded, &, I think, the 8 wheel armoured car
(Puma). The interior of the doors is mostly bracing struts, & half round formers, rather like hoops to form the curve of the the skin which seemed to be fabric.
I can't remember where I saw it all though. The flaps would be manual, probably on some sort of pulley system, maybe even wound down. So once they're down, they may as well stay down for the next take off. Thats going to be a big diorama, how big are the shelves in your house?
Hope this helps.

Off the top of my head, can't remember any pictures of a 321 being loaded or unloaded. However if you can find a copy of William Green's The Warplanes of the Third Reich, on pages 652 and 653 you will find 4 pictures of 323's having troops and equipment being loaded or unloaded.

The drawings of the two airframes would indicate that the nose doors on both aircraft were the same basic system. And, I suspect, both airframes used the same method of leveling the aircraft for the loading and unloading of heavy equipment.

I forgot to mention, the 88mm gun had the half or is it three quarter track towing wagon attached, must have been a nightmare to reverse in!
Airfix do the 88/tractor unit in 1/76th or I think Hasegawa have one too.
I've also (thanks for the reminder) seen pictures of how the troops were seated, It must have felt like being a sardine in a paper bag. Not for thith lil' black duck, thankyou!
