I'm gonna go to my LHS and pick one these up to add to my stash on friday.   What shades of metal did you use on it?

NMF is awesome.  It looks larger than it should be.  Nice build!

Very nice! The differant shades of aluminum really look great, and the overall look is top notch. I know what you mean about the scale; when I finish a couple fighters in the works I'm going to limit my 1/72 builds to larger subjects - the small stuff is just too fiddly for my fat fingers.

That finish is fantastic. The whole thing doesn't read as 1/72 at all. Well done!

that's what the 10X optivisor is for.   I went from mostly 1/48 down to 1/72 for the majority of what I build, I just got a really good optivisor.    Also will be switching from fluorescent lights to LED's here soon.

Very nice model for the scale but oh my eyes. Too much small detail causes eye strain. I think I'm done with 1/72 scale. Model built straight out of box except I added a pair of missiles from Eduard. I took a bit of artistic license with the missiles because they are AIM-9B Sidewinders. However, the Soviet K-13 was almost exact copy so that's acceptable.
