Amazing build, Marcin. Just wonderful.

When I see an old airplane like this Fokker and how spindley it looks, it's hard to believe someone actually got in it and flew it away. Pilots back then were very brave people!

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Hello Mike!

it isn't very difficult to paint those details. when you have photo of original and brush number 000 you can practise and enjoy the results.

Turnbuckles are Gaspatch. I'm not so determined to do those by myself :)

However i think they are too big.

i will use Gaspatch's turnbuckles in scale smaller (1:48) than 1:32 in my next model.

I have used EZline to do the rigging.

Best Regards

Marcin

I was wondering the same thing - that mottled look on the cowl. That you hand painted it with a very small brush shows talent, skill, and determination!

The rigging looks like it must have take a while. Did you use Gaspatch turnbuckles? No, looking at it again it seems as if you've made or used great looking turnbuckles but I don't think they're from Gaspatch.

Excellent work!

Jeden piękny Fokker!

welcome! Thank you very much for your opinions. i achieved mottled look by painting silver colour by Mr Hobby, then i painted details manually with very small brush - Mr Hobby chrome metalizer.

Don't turn your back on me, Fokker!

This model is so gorgeous it's better than most museum pieces I've seen. How did you achieve the mottled look on the metals?
