1/48 Eduard Mirage IIIC Profipack - "The Bat" Squadron Israel 1967 Six Day War
I built this one for a guy, decals are IsraDecals, unfortunately they are very thick decals and did not set well even with 6 coats of micro sol. They also are brittle and break and tear easy.
The model is the usual Eduard Mirage, suffers from some bad fitting areas, (I have done 6 or so Mirages and Kfirs now Eduard and Kinetic, everyone I try different approaches to try and get the best fit, but still there are problems), anyway it didn't turn out to bad for a NM finish.
I used AK Xtreme metals for the main paintwork, weathering to a minimum on this one. Several coats of AK Gauzy to keep it shiny. The extra goodies for the profipack edition add some nice details.
This is #778, from the Six-Day War, carrying 5 kill marks of Egyptian planes.
