Hi mawright

Are you checking "constrain proportions" in the insert/edit image box? If you aren't already, it might help to set the width (try 500 or 600 pixels) only, and then check that box.

Oh, and the Jug looks pretty good, when the pics aren't distorted... :)

Yes, he stated in his post that they didn't come out right. The strange thing is that when I refreshed the page they came appeared as should be!

Oh, duh!  Thanks, Phil, I glossed right past that when I first opened Mike's post and looked at the pictures.

I suspect the issue is with the phone and its OS, and how it creates/processes image files.

In Mike's original post, they're still distorted, even after I refresh the page.  But in the quoted post, they're rendered normally.

Greetings All! Well, with the new year, I’m going to work on some new kits. Just finished the Revell 1/48 P-47D Razorback. I have to thank everyone on the forums for the ideas and suggestions. I think with some of the ideas here, (while no Bish or Toshi! ;’)), I feel this is my personal best work yet. Being a previous military mechanic and aviator, I decided to try and weather something to look like it’s been worked hard in the field.  I would like other’s feedback on what they think of the wear and tear on this project.  I still am unable to figure out why these pics from my phone are not coming out properly, even when trying to use the adjustment.(Failed to update the pics as WIP)

Bish,  I used some ideas off your posted P-47 to make some wear on this example, Your thoughts?

Something's happening with your pics, Mike.  They're stretched from top to bottom, or squeezed from one side to the next.  I noticed they look OK in the quoted post.  The photo of your B-29 that you posted in Toshi's B-17G build thread looks like this, too.

Anyone else see this, too?  I'm working on a laptop, with Win10, using Firefox 57.0.3 as my browser.  I don't know whether other people, using other devices/platforms, see something different.

Maybe it's your photo host and whatever link you're using to include photos, and how FSM's forum software handles it.
