                        I am getting back into scale modeling after a very long time away.

                        I am building a Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito with some Eduard detailing, (this wasn't available when I was last building and thought I may as well just jump right in). Not expecting to build anything fantastic, but may as well get going with the learning process and get the mistakes over with as soon as I can.

                        Any way, as mentioned in the title, Iam looking at getting the Hobby Boss 1/48 SU-27, looking at their website, they have 3 kits, can someone tell me if the Eduard detailing kit would fit any of those 3 kits?

                        Eduard say the kits are for a specific model number, so?

                        The question is a bit confusing. Which detail set are you looking at for the su-27? Can you list the eduard part number?

                        In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

                        It says on Hannants that the Eduard sets are for the Flanker B. But the Eduard set itself simply says Su-27.  My guess is they would fit the others but would they be appropriate for the them. I don't know anything about the Flanker so could not tell you the differences.

                        It could be that Eduard did not release sets for the other 2 kits as they felt people could use the one they had for all versions. They did this for the 72nd Airfix Stuka's, releaseing a set for the B-1 but not the B-2.

                        You could play it safe and get the Flanker B, that was the first out and so that will be the one the Eduard set was designed around. The C appears to be a 2 seater, so you will only have PE for one pit.
