i see the p-38 has a tail stand right? i've got academy's kit in 1/48 waiting to be built...anyone know what i can use as a nose weight? fishing lead? the trick is getting something that will fit the odd shape i supposeDisapprove [V]

Very nice - thanks for the pics.
Really liked the P-38.
I also like the variety of wethered & non weathered. You do a great job with both.
I'm assuming all of these are 1/48 scale - is that right ?

Yes Bossman, all of these models are in 1:48 scale..
Nmayhew, yes the stand was necessary because the nose weight wasn´t sufficient and the tail stayed down....here in Brazil we used lead balls, the same used in cal.12 cartdrige, placed in the nose and the cowlings...

I use soft lead fishing weights for my nose weights since they can be molded and shaped, and even cut whenever needed. You can get them anywhere fishing gear is sold.

Fabio, great job on all those kits, both the armor and the aircraft! Keep up the great work!
