Where is a good place to find 1/48th scale general aviation pilot figures?

I like to build my aircraft in flight, and model kit companies seem to make that difficult these days by omitting the pilot. It is not teriibly difficult to find military pilot figures, but I'm having trouble finding a good source of general aviation pilots...pilots who are often wearing nothing but headsets, or hard helmets without a mask, with or without a flight suit and chute. Does anybody know of any good places to look?

I had a commission two years ago that required civilian pilots and passengers, but it waa difficult to find anything in 1/48 scale that would work "straight from the box". I wound up using model railroad O scale civilians to fill the seats. I had to scratch build headsets from plastic stock and wire; there was also a lot of surgery and epoxy putty work to get them to fit in natural poses. In hindsight, I should have made molds of the completed bits to cast copies, but honestly, I don't really build a lot of civilian subjects.

Try this link - pretty sure that's the set I used...

I have only ever come across 2. They were in...I wanna say one of Academy's boxings of their OH-6. One had a ball cap and headset, the other just had the headset and sunglasses, both in plain clothes. May be worth buyin the kit for the figs, if you have the ability to "clone" them!

Not helpful to your quest, but PJ Productions make some in 1/72:

Although they were not strictly 1:48, Monogram did a few pilots and passengers in light planes like the Piper Tri-Pacer and I believe a Cessna model.  Neat thing about people is that some variation in scale is not too important.
