I bought the Airfix B-29 about 20-30 years ago but never finished it. So I decided to finish it, I've painted it silver, using Humbrol 11, but am a bit wary about giving it a coat of varnish. So I built the Heller Spitfire XVIE and painted it silver. Then I gave it a coat of Humbrol Satin Varnish 135, and yes, the silver paint "curdled"! So what should I do about applying the decals on the B-29? Do I just apply them straight onto the silver paint? Is there anything to seal the decals afterwards? Comments would be appreciated.
