Painting Pipps Prillers FW-190

If you have not put on the decals yet, you can paint 76 over the 65.

Well it's too late now because the underside is already painted. I can live with it.

It certainly would not be 65 underneath and 76 on the sides. 76 would be the right colour for that type at that stage of the war.

RLM 65 should not be used on a day fighter 190 in 1944. Not unless there is some proof of a custom repaint. Out of the factory at that time 74/75/76 was the standard production scheme for 190 day fighters. 

That is weird...editor must have been on vacation that day RLM 76 would be the right color though from what I've read.

Monster - Is that info coming from two different sources or just the instructions? Can you post a pic of the intructions and maybe we can offer some more advice?

I'm confused. It says "the color is the standard Luftwaffe RLM 74/75/76 pattern. The mottling on the fuselage is RLM 74.

But when they show the underbelly of the aircraft it says "undersufaces: RLM 65 light blue"

...yes, and the color should be RLM 76. , not 65

Monster - the blue should just be the underside and then up the side of the fuselage.
