Did this one for a SIG on FB, Main colour is supposed to be high speed silver, but I used AK Xtreme Aluminium, I also used some artistic licence with the weathering, I don't think they were this dirty looking, but I like the look. Tamiya smoke along the panel lines and Flory Dark Dirt Wash in the panel lines. I gave it a coat of Tamiya semi gloss clear to knock a bit of shine off it. The kit comes with some PE and resin, including rockets, but I used some plastic rockets I had and used the resin rail mounts, the PE detail and gluing tiny rockets together would have done my head in.
I agree, they probably were not that dirty, but I also agree that the look gives the kit some depth and it looks fantastic. Although we try to make these kits as real as we can we still have to take some license on the look to give it good eye appeal. I think you did a fantastic job. Well done!

The kit is pretty good, this one comes with some resin and PE, similar sort of injection plastic to Special Hobby kits if you have built any of theirs
Thanks Grant. Ye, have built some SH kits and rather like them, and MPM are part of the same company. Think i might have to grab one.
