UnwaryPaladin Looks great! I like how you did the wing lights.

Tamiya actually supplies separate clear parts for the wingtip lights in this kit, which is really nice. I just carefully drilled a hole partway into each and filled it with Tamiya Clear Red/Green as appropriate. Very simple and quick to do.

Great job on your jug.Well done

A brilliant rendition of the Jug. I don't think the weathering is heavy handed at all Mate.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Nicely done, I love the color scheme!

Hi all, I was editing some photos yesterday and it dawned on me that I neglected to share my latest completion, despite finishing it months ago. This is Tamiya's magnificent little T-Bolt with EagleCal decals for the markings of 1Lt Raymond L. Knight of the 350th FG, a Medal of Honor winner who was KIA at the very end of the war in Europe. He was the only member of the entire 12th AF to earn the Medal of Honor during WWII for heroism in the air.
I added Quickboost guns and intercooler ducts, and a few bits of Eduard PE. Paint is Tamiya acrylics, except for the external fuel tank and canopy, which are Alclad. The weathering was primarily done with Mig Ammo washes and pastels. A small amount of chipping was done with a silver Prismacolor pencil. Since this aircraft was based in Italy, I went for dry and dusty - no mud splatters. I'm not 100% happy with the weathering, which I feel is a little heavy-handed in a few areas, but overall it came out pretty well. Since taking the photos, I've remembered to go back and paint in the ID lights on the underside of the wing - oops!
Hope you enjoy the photos. Any comments and criticism are welcomed.
