 she`s now on her feet , exhaust stacks , props on , all but the wing clear parts fitted , undercarriage & undercarriage doors fitted and painted in alclad metals, matt black & tyre black :)

my lamp has died and need too get new one so photos not great at certain angles till i sort it , Camo freehanded in Alclad RAF Dark Earth & RAF Dark Green , then post shaded a little and a coat of Alclad Aqua Gloss , black underside is next

That's a nice job, Fred. What an improvement on the old kit from Frog. Tempting.

I think those space frames are very nice. Can you tell how the rear turret is going to build up?

Will she get radar?

 

cheers mate the rear turret just pivots left to right , not sure if they had radar in 1940

 

 

the tail added the wing bits and masked the clear parts , the gun turrets will get fitted near the end after camo if i fit them before camo i would end up breaking the guns knowing me , 1 turret has been painted the Alclad RAF Dark Earth

thats the first part done and closed up , im using Eduard mask set for the first time there great but there is 1 window they forgot E07 a 2mm diameter circle window all painted in alclad as always

for a RAF 100 Years Group Build , started tonight Alclad raf interior green , black and drybrushed , its a lovely detailed kit & its a new tool so should be fun also a first for me i ordered the Eduard CX420 canopy mask set
