Hi all, a good friend of mine was thinning his stash to make room for one of his new large scale planes. I aquired an Airfix 1/24 FW190 A5/6 from him. I knew all the details of the kit and knew it was short a few parts.
I checked out Airfix and thier website states that they are currently not stocking spare or replacement parts for thier kits, I still intend to e-mail them on the odd chance they may be sympathetic or just happen to have what I need laying around.
So all that being said anybody have a 1/24 scale FW190 A5/6 they are parting out? I need the forward gun cover just ahead of the windscreen, ( part # 135), the forward windscreen, and the canopy.
I would try to vacuform or cast the needed parts however the originals are beautifully installed on my friends plane. If anybody is interested in hooking a modeler up please PM me. Thank you and sorry for sounding like a begger.
