Avoid the first generation Hasegawa kit. This comes in C, D/J and E variants. Fit is not great, shallow intakes and burner cans. This one is evolved from the '70's kit of the F-15A.

The later mid-late 80's kit (also in C, D/J and E variants) is much nicer, but is a little more fiddly with multi-part exhausts and nicer detail all-round. However, these come with no weapons and they'll have to be sourced separately.

F-15 kits come in broad groups: F-15A/C, F-15E, and the newer versions. What do you want to build?

I've been looking at reviews but wanted to hear from the community on this subject.  Or perhaps suggest 1/72 F-15 kits to stay AWAY from?   Thanks.
