Finished: 1/48 Mirage Hobby Halberstadt CL.IV in Lithuanian Service

Ok, so I've ben bad lately about being on here, and I didn't do in-progress posts on this, but it was a fun kit.

The lozenge are Aviattic decals, the prop is hand-carved from laminated veneers (hub is the PE part from the kit), and the rear MG is a Gaspatch piece. Rigging is EZ Line, with wire anchors I made while watching TV as the girlfriend looked at me like I was losing my mind.

Very nice!  Cool they have decals for the lozenge. Imagine doing that paint job.  Prop came out fantastic.  Glad your addicted, let's see more.

Thanks,

John

I've got a couple of them... but I just pushed them to the back of the closet. Just beautiful.

Having just finished the same company's CL.II myself, I've got a healthy appreciation for how much work you put into yours. It's gorgeous, and I love those leser-seen markings!

That is pretty cool and definitely up to your usual impressive standard. Never seen those markings before.

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)
