MENG 1/48 F-35A Build...

I've been working on and off on this F-35 I'm dedicating to my brother Buzz. After waiting for a month for a pilot figure to arrive from across the pond, I have finally finished the pilot this morning. Now I can progress with the rest of the kit. For this build, I took my cue from wolfman_63 and his recent A-26B build and I'm going to pose the F-35 in flight. Since the MENG kit has no pilot figure, I scoured the internet for an appropriate figure and I found one from PJ Production. The figure actually has the JHMCS (?) helmet like the F-35 pilots wear. I painted the figure with MM O.D. enamel lightened with a few drops of white and detailed it with MM acrylics. I gave it my best effort. The figure is pretty small for these old eyes.
