I've been curious about airship models in general. I was wondering if anyone had ever built one, but didn't think there were any actual kits. I figured this would have had to be totally scratchbuilt. Interesting. I'm glad this question was posted.
I had watched a show on the History Channel -
Weapons at War: Airships - and was really surprised. I knew about the Hindenburg and was aware that the US had a couple, but not to the extent this show portrays. I found it very interesting.
